New Device Connection Email Notifications

New Device Connection Email Notifications

CurrentWare now helps you stay on top of your network with a new feature that provides real-time notifications for newly connected devices. This new option gives administrators more control and visibility, ensuring you can quickly identify and manage new PCs or users as they connect to your network.

Key Benefits

  • Automated Notifications: Automatically get an email notification whenever a new PC or user connects, eliminating the need for manual monitoring.

  • Faster Unauthorized Device Detection: Quickly spot and act on unauthorized devices connecting to your network, improving security.

  • Relevant Insights: Configure notifications to be sent to specific recipients, reducing "email noise" and ensuring the right people receive the right information.

  • Simplified Compliance: Maintain better oversight of your network for security audits and compliance requirements.

How it Works

The new control panel is located in the CurrentWare Console under Settings > Emails > Email Notifications.

From here, you can configure and manage which email recipients will receive notifications. Simply add the email addresses of the administrators or IT staff who need to be alerted whenever a new PC connects to your CurrentWare solution. This feature provides flexibility and ensures that your team has actionable visibility into new device connections, helping you to proactively manage your network.
