Utilization Dashboard

The Utilization Rate Dashboard measures employee efficiency to maximize productivity, optimize resources, and support project timelines and employee well-being. It is calculated by comparing your users’ productive active time to their expected work hours.


Access the Utilization Dashboard from BrowseReporter > Dashboard > Utilization.


First Time Setup Tips


  • Expected Work Hours: Set the expected work hours based on your organization work schedules. Use custom settings customized by groups.

  • Optimal Range: Define the optimal, underutilized and overutilized levels for your organization’s workload balance.

  • Exclude Non-work Days: Set a threshold to ensure only work days are calculated.+


Once you have your utilization settings configured, it’s time to discover your team’s efficiency level.

Utilization

See a detailed breakdown of your team's current utilization levels. This report will categorize each user into three distinct groups: optimally utilized, underutilized, and overutilized. The analysis will provide insights into how effectively your team members are spending their time on productive activities and identify potential areas for improvement in resource planning. 





Underutilized and Overutilized Users

This list identifies both underutilized and overutilized employees based on the amount of time spent on productive tasks. Underutilized employees are likely disengaged and may require management support, while overutilized employees are at risk of burnout due to being overworked. Recognizing these trends can help improve team performance and reduce attrition.





Utilization Summary 

Analyze your team's utilization in detail. There are two available views: user summary and group summary.

  • User Summary: Track individual user performance and spot activity trends with a day-by-day sparkline chart for up to 14 days. Click on a specific date for more activity details.

  • Group Summary: Focus on the activity of each department and identify performance bottlenecks.
