Mouse Jiggler Detection

As of CurrentWare version 12.0.0, CurrentWare has Mouse Jiggler Detection that helps ensure accurate productivity data by identifying simulated or automated mouse activity caused by software or hardware mouse jigglers. This prevents false engagement signals in remote and hybrid work environments.

How It Works

When enabled, CurrentWare analyzes mouse movement patterns and flags behavior that differs from natural human input, such as repetitive or continuous movement over long periods. Detected activity is recorded in the Timeline view.

How to Enable

This feature is disabled by default.


To enable this feature go to:
Settings → BrowseReporter → Tracking Options → Mouse Jiggler Activity

Once enabled, detected behavior will appear in dashboard and timeline views.



Optional: Warning Messages

Admins can configure on-screen messages to verify real user activity or reduce false positives.

To enable this feature go to:

Settings → BrowseReporter → Client Settings → Mouse Jiggler Warning Messages

Here you can configure a custom message (up to 255 characters), display intervals (in minutes) and apply it globally or per group
