How to Rename a Website Category

Renaming a website category in CurrentWare is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to update the category name:

1. Open the CurrentWare Console:
  1. Launch the CurrentWare console on your computer.
2. Navigate to the BrowseReporter > Run Reports feature:
  1. In the console, go to the "BrowseControl" tab, which contains the URL filtering options.
3. Select any of the select "Category" report types:


4. Select the "Rename Category" option underneath the selection.

5. Find and select the category, click the "Rename" button.



6. Enter the new name for the category in the provided field.

7. Confirm the change by clicking "Update"

Check that the new category name appears correctly in the BrowseReporter data on your console and reports. 

By following these steps, you can easily rename a website category in CurrentWare.
