How do I access the legacy desktop console?

As of version 6.0, the CurrentWare desktop console has been migrated to run completely on the new CurrentWare Web Console.

You still have full access to the desktop console to perform CurrentWare operations. Launch it from the following location:

C:\Program Files (x86)\CurrentWare\cwConsole\cwConsole.exe
When trying to open the Desktop console, you will be prompted to launch the Web Console instead as it is no longer receiving updates and there is no longer feature parity between the two consoles. To continue to the Desktop console, you will need to select the "Close". This will bring up the Legacy Desktop console:

Note: You will use the same operator credentials as your Web Console login

Creating a shortcut on your desktop

You can also right-click that cwConsole.exe and add it to your desktop for easier access.
